Lambertville sits closer to Toledo than most of Ohio does, and Med1Care's care now comes from right in the neighborhood. Our home health aides, nurses, and physical, occupational, and speech therapists visit Monroe County homes on your doctor's schedule, every day of the week.
A Med1Care person answers 24/7/365, never an answering service. Office hours are 8:30 to 4:30, Monday through Friday. Referring a patient? Send a referral here.
What we do here
The physician decides what care looks like. We decide who knocks, and we choose carefully.
Personal care and support
A good aide changes the whole week. Ours are trained, supervised by licensed nurses, and matched to the household instead of handed the next open slot. They keep the mornings safe, the meals real, and somebody trustworthy in the home while you catch your breath.
Skilled nursing at home
Crossing into Toledo for every appointment gets old fast. For the care on this list, our RNs and LPNs come to you instead, follow the physician's orders exactly, and keep the doctor updated as things change.
Physical, occupational, and speech therapy run through our in-home therapy team, and your doctor can add them to the same plan of care.
Paying for it
When you qualify, Original Medicare pays nothing out of your pocket for covered home health visits. Medical equipment is the exception, and that runs 20 percent of the approved amount after your Part B deductible. Medicare Advantage plans set their own cost sharing and often want prior authorization, so the answer there depends on your plan.
Qualifying takes a few things at once. A doctor has to certify the need after seeing the patient face to face, the care has to be part-time or intermittent skilled nursing or therapy, and the patient has to be homebound. We're a Medicare and Medicaid certified agency, and we work with most private insurers on the Michigan side too. Coverage rules shift at the state line, so the fastest answer is one phone call.
Don't fill anything out yet. Phone us at 419.866.0555 and we'll check your plan while you're on the line, then tell you what applies to your situation rather than the average one.
There's no Medicare payment for help with bathing, dressing, meals, or housekeeping when that's the only care somebody needs. It covers aide visits alongside ordered skilled nursing or therapy, not on their own. Private duty care is available if you'd rather arrange and pay for help directly. If daily help is what your family is after, say so on the first call and we'll tell you what your options actually are, including the ones that aren't us.
Nothing here gets sent anywhere. It's a gut check before you call.
Check the boxes that apply. Either way, the next step is the same phone call.
This isn't a coverage decision. Medicare and your insurer decide what's covered. Our intake team can walk you through it in about ten minutes.
The record
CMS scores every certified home health agency in the country on the same measures and publishes the results. Ours are below. Anyone can look them up.
Two more worth knowing. Med1Care beats the national rate on discharge to community and on potentially preventable hospitalization, both risk-adjusted by CMS. Every figure here is published on Medicare Care Compare under CMS certification number 368362, where it refreshes quarterly. Last checked .
Comparing agencies
Pick three agencies and ask all of them the same things. Write the answers down. Here's what we'd tell you, so you have something to hold the others against.
Coverage area
The Lambertville office brings Med1Care to Bedford Township and the towns around it. Lambertville, Temperance, Ottawa Lake, Ida, Petersburg, Luna Pier, Dundee, and Monroe are all in reach.
Monroe County sits right on top of our Ohio coverage, and the Holland office backs up the Lambertville team every day. Wondering about an address on either side of the line? Call 419.866.0555 and it's settled in a minute.
Monroe County, Michigan, marked in red, is right across the state line.
In plain words
Type what everyone else in Bedford Township types. Home healthcare Lambertville MI. Homecare nursing. Home care agency near me. In-home skilled nursing care. Private duty help. Every one of those searches ends at the same phone number here. Aides take the personal care and the daily support, nurses take the clinical work, therapists add physical, occupational, or speech therapy when the doctor orders it, and the schedule covers every day of the week. Call 419.866.0555 and skip straight to describing what your family needs. We'll match the service to it.

Getting started
Tell us what's going on. We'll tell you whether home care, home therapy, or the outpatient clinic fits best, and we'll be honest if it's not us at all.
We're Medicare and Medicaid certified and work with most private plans on both sides of the state line. Your doctor's orders set the plan.
Your aide, nurse, or therapist arrives on the ordered schedule, and a Case Manager keeps everything coordinated.
Lambertville questions
Covered visits cost nothing out of pocket once Original Medicare approves the care. Equipment runs 20 percent after the Part B deductible, Medicare Advantage plans set their own shares, and we work with most private insurance along with private duty. Michigan plans have their own quirks, so have the card handy when you call and we'll read it together.
Days, not weeks, once the doctor's orders arrive. The coverage check is the only other step, and we start it on the first call. You'll get a real timeline, not a guess.
Yes. Plenty of Bedford Township patients land in Toledo hospitals, and discharge planners send them home to us through the referral form or a phone call. A Case Manager picks it up from there. Families can start the process themselves too.
Yes. Our aides handle bathing, dressing, meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders, with a licensed nurse supervising the plan. Medicare only pays for aide visits alongside ordered skilled care, and private duty covers ongoing daily help when you'd rather pay for it directly. Call and we'll go through any Michigan coverage questions with you.
There are two tests and Medicare applies both. Leaving home has to be medically inadvisable or take help from another person or a device, and the patient has to be normally unable to leave home, with going out taking a lot of effort. It does not mean never leaving. Medicare allows trips for medical care, religious services, adult day care, and the occasional family event.
Right in Lambertville, with the Holland, Ohio office backing it up. Visits happen in your home either way, so most families never see an office at all. The phone is answered around the clock, every day of the year, by a Med1Care representative rather than an answering service.
