From your first call to the first visit

Or send the assessment form. Tell us what's going on at home. The office runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 4:30, and a Med1Care person answers the phone 24/7/365.
We sort out coverage
Medicare, Ohio Medicaid, Passport, waiver programs, and most private plans, plus private duty if you'd rather pay directly. We'll tell you what's covered before anything starts.
Your doctor sets the plan
We build the plan of care with your physician and your family, then match caregivers to the household.
Visits begin
Caregivers arrive on the ordered schedule. Nurses supervise, and the plan adjusts as your needs change.

Does Medicare pay for in-home care?

Yes, when a doctor orders home health care and you meet Medicare's requirements. We're a Medicare and Medicaid certified agency, and we also work with Passport, waiver programs, and most private insurance. Private duty care is available too if you'd rather pay directly. Call us with your situation and we'll tell you what applies before any paperwork.

Who actually comes to the house?

Whoever the doctor's orders call for. Home health aides handle personal care and daily support, and they work under the supervision of licensed nurses. RNs and LPNs handle skilled care like wound care, IV therapy, and injections. You'll know who is scheduled and when.

How fast can care start?
